Get Well Soon Cards

These cards were created with Taylored Expressions Souper
Soon, Lawn Fawn On The Mend, Doodlebug Twine, Die-namics
Inside/Outside Stitched Circles and Bazzill cardstock.

I stamped both images and used the co-ordinating dies to cut
them out.  I coloured the soup can with Copics and paper pieced
the tissue box.  I then created the front panel by die-cutting an
aperture.  It looked a little plain so I used a scoreboard to add
horizontal lines.  Twine was wrapped around the top of card.  I
stamped the sentiment and then adhered all the elements
to a top folding card base using foam tape for dimension.

The inside of the card was finished with a further image
 and sentiment.

Sending You Smiles

This card was created with My Favorite Things 21, Simon
Says Stamp Sending and Wishing stamps and dies, Avery
Elle papers, Doodlebug enamel dots, silver glitter card and
Bazzill cardstock.

I followed a sketch for this card, I can't find the sketch now
but I will amend this post and give credit when I do.

I die cut all the elements and then simpy adhered them directly
to a top folding card base.  I used a variety of adhesive to
give dimension and then finished with the enamel dots.

The inside of the card was finished with a further sentiment and
several die cuts.

Watercolour Stripe Birthday Card

This card was created using Distress Inks, Simon Says Stamp
Wide Stripes Background Stamp, My Favorite Things
Blueprints 21, MFT Die-namics Brushstroke Birthday
Greetings, Doodlebug Enamel Dots and Bazzill cardstock.

I began by selecting several shades of blue distress inks with
which to paint the background stamp.  Whilst this was drying I
die cut the words.  I used the largest die from Blueprints 21 to
cut the background piece and then layered the word die cuts
onto it.  I finished by adhering this layer to a top folding card
base before adding 3 enamel dots.

I finished the inside of the card with a white die cut layer onto
which I stamped a further sentiment in navy ink.

40th Birthday Card

This card was created using Simon Says Stamp
Wide Stripes background stamp, Wplus9 Modern
Numerals, My Favourite Things Blueprints 21, Paper
Smooches Digits, Doodlebug enamel dots and twine and
Bazzill cardstock.

I stamped the background first to allow it time to dry.  Next
I die cut the numbers and the sentiment strip.  I heat embossed
the sentiment and then I die cut the background layer using the
largest die from the Blueprints 21.  I wrapped twine around the
striped layer and then adhered my other elements using foam
tape.  Finally I added a few enamel dots.

I also made a male version using chalk ink and different
colours.

Birthday Card

A quick, simple last minute make.

I used several sheets from a paper pad to make the
flags for this card then simple adhered them to
a white die cut layer.  I wrapped twine around the
white layer and then adhered to the card base.
The final step was to add some enamel dots.

Oh Happy Day

Another birthday card today made with Blueprint dies from
MFT.  I cut the base layer from pale blue cardstock then stamped
a Hero Arts background stamp.  I made a frame using 2 other
Blueprints dies and added a Doodlebug paper behind it.  I
heat embossed a Lawn Fawn sentiment, added a die cut bunting
and scattered some Studio Calico stars.

Oh Em Gee

The sun was shining this morning when I woke and I knew it
had to be a bright, cheery card today.

Using Paper Smooches star dies I randomly placed them and die cut
several times.  I added a sheet of Doodlebug paper behind and then
layered onto bright pink cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment and wrapped
some silver thread, unfortunately it hasn't photographed
very well.

On the inside I used the smaller of the Femme Frames and then added
a strip of leftover paper and a further sentiment on white cardstock.

Sending Hugs Shaker Card

This is the first card i have made this year.  I enjoyed the process but
not the tidying up!

I used some pattern papers, vellum paper smooches dies and
stamps and some doodlebug sequins.  The sentiment is a
Simon Says Stamp die and stamp set.
