Thinking Of You Card

This card was made using Taylored Expressions Birch Tree Background, Avery Elle Petals & Stems, a butterfly punch, Hero Arts embossing powder and Bazzill cardstock.

The birch trees were stamped onto Bazzill Alpaca cardstock with MFT Cement Gray ink.  A panel of white was added behind this piece to give a very narrow white edging.  This was then adhered to a top folding card base.  The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Sugar Wafer cardstock and added to the card with foam tape.  The butterflies were punched, layered and positioned on the sentiment strip.

Diamond Aperture Card

This card was made with My Favorite Things Hello There dies, Birthday Bears stamps and Blueprints 13, American Crafts glitter paper, Hero Arts white embossing powder, Cricut Explore Air and MFT cardstock.

Using the Cricut Design Space app on my iPad I created the diamond aperture and matching frame.  The white layer was then die cut using the largest die from Blueprints 13.  The frame was adhered before adding it to a top folding card base with foam tape.  I heat embossed the sentiment next then die cut the 'hi' word 3 times in white and once in silver glitter paper.  I added these elements to the card to finish.

Birthday Tag Card

This card was made using CAS-ual Fridays Funky Round Tag die and Bold Greetings stamp set, My Favorite Things Chevron Cover-Up die, Amy Tangerine Stitched paper pad, Simple Stories Snap paper pad, ribbon from my stash and Bazzill cardstock.

The largest layer of the tag was die cut from the spotty paper and the sentiment was stamped on the white layer, the tag was then assembled with foam tape between the layers.  The white layer was die cut next and again foam tape was added behind this for dimension.  The chevron layer was added to the pattern paper and then grosgrain ribbon wrapped around.  The tag was added next using the ribbon to secure it.  This panel was then added to a top folding card base and the final step was to add the tiny rhinestone embellishments.

CAS(E) this Sketch - Guest Designer

I was delighted to be asked to be the guest designer for this weeks challenge.  I loved the sketch and had fun creating 4 cards.  I used the same stamp, die set and layout for all the cards but created different backgrounds for each one.  The stamp set is Lil' inker All About Ampersand and the dies are My Favourite Things Ampersand.

For the card above I also used Simon Says Stamp Wide Stripes Background Stamp, MFT Blueprints 13, Hero Arts Platinum embossing powder and MFT cardstock and ink in Grout Gray.

For this card I also used Avery Elle Wonky Stitched dies, Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed, Hero Arts Platinum embossing powder and Bazzill cardstock.
This card also used Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes, American Crafts glitter paper and Bazzill cardstock.
Other supplies used for this card are My Favorite Things Polka Dot Cover-up die, Hero Arts Gold embossing powder and Bazzill cardstock.

Thank You Card

This card was made using Stampin' Up Mixed Bunch stamp set and co-ordinating punch, My Favorite Things Layered Leaves and Stitched Strip dies, Lawn Fawn Let's Polka paper pack, My Favorite Things Adorable Elephants stamps and Bazzill Cardstock.

The square layer was die cut with the stiched dies and adhered flat to a top folding card base.  The flower was punched out and the centre stamped layer added with foam tape for dimension.  The leaves and pattern paper strip were die cut next and then the main focal image was assembled.  Before adding this the sentiment was stamped in MFT Cement Gray ink.
