Vellum Snowflake Card

This card was made using Hero Arts Hand Drawn Snowflakes Bold Prints stamp, Hero Arts white embossing powder, Bazzill vellum and cardstock, Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Mix, Distress Ink in Peacock feathers, Lawn Fawn Let It Snow.

I began by heat embossing the snowflake stamp onto vellum.  This was set aside while I inked the background layer with Peacock Feathers ink.  The snowflake layer was adhered embossed side down to give the finished card a more matte appearance.  The sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock next and then I layered all the elements together using foam tape behind the sentiment.  Finally, the sequins were adhered randomly across the card front.

Paper Smooches - Metallic Season's Greetings Card

This card was made with Paper Smooches Christmas Words 2, My Favorite Things Inside & Outside Stitched Circle Stax, Hero Arts Copper embossing powder, Simple Stories Snap Color Vibe pattern paper Bazzill cardstock and Wink of Stella glitter pen in clear.

I began by die cutting the sentiment, leaves and holly berries and then heat embossed the sentiment multiple times with the copper embossing powder.  I set this aside and die cut the circle from the white layer, this was then adhered to the top folding card base with foam tape.  The elements were then arranged using a combination of foam tape and glue.  The final step was to coat the holly berries with Wink of Stella.

MFT - Snuggle Bunnies

This card was made My Favorite Things Snuggle Bunnies stamps and dies, Stitched Circle Scallop Frame, Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Candied Apple and Scattered Staw, Distress Watercolor cardstock, Copic Sketch markers, Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Mix and Bazzill cardstock and vellum.

The first step was to create the ink blended background panel which I then lightly spritzed with water.  I set this aside to dry whilst I stamped and coloured the 2 images.  The sentiment was heat embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.  I then die cut the scallop frame and added vellum behind it to help the main images stand out.  I then adhered everything to a top folding card base using foam tape for the sentiment and images.  The final step was to add the sequins.

Sending Hugs Card

I have returned to blogging after a short break to spend some time with my daughter.

This card was made with My Favorite Things Chevron Grid background stamp, Die-namics Sending Hugs, Blueprints 13, Sno Cone and Cement Grey cardstock, Simon Says Stamp Clustered Leaves die, Persimmon Distress Ink, Hero Arts Unicorn Ink and Bazzill vellum.

I began by stamping the background stamp onto Sno Cone card.  This layer was die cut with the largest of the Blueprints 13 dies.  The leaves were cut from vellum and adhered to the stamped panel.  The word die was cut 3 times and layered together, distress ink was applied to create an ombre effect on the top layer.  All the elements were then attached to a top folding card base.

I am adding this card to CAS(E) this Sketch - #194
