A Valentine Card

A Valentine card with non traditional colours.

I used an MFT die set and matching stamps to create this
card.  I adhered the arrows all over the background piece and
then added a vellum heart with a heat embossed sentiment in black.

On the inside I added a white layer and a further die cut arrow
and another sentiment.

A Gift Card

I used a circle die to create the focal point of this
card.  I then added a frame and adhered the flower
die cut.  I stamped a sentiment and then adhered everything
to a pink layer and then to my card base.  On the inside
I added another pink layer from which I had die cut
a gift card slot.

Belated Birthday Wishes

I made this card using a Taylored Expression die and 1"
strips of card.  I then stamped a sentiment and die cut
the circle and finally added the 'Sending' word.

Thank You Card

I dont know why I keep making mainly white cards
when I find them so difficult to photograph in winter.

Anyway I began with a die cut background which I added
to my card base with foam tape.  I then die cut a vellum
circle and the thank you sentiment.  I adhered all the
elements and finished with a silver glitter heart.

I left the inside of the card blank to give lots of room for
the message of thanks.

A New Home

A simple, flat easy to mail card was called for today.

I stamped the image and added a strip of thin washi
tape beneath it to ground the image.  I coloured the heart
with a wink of stella glitter pen and finished by
stamping the sentiment.

I have somehow managed to make this card look squint
although in fact it is straight.  It is also next to
impossible to take good, clean, bright photographs
at this time of year in Scotland.

Feel Better Soon

I started this card with the background, I heat embossed
a background stamp onto some watercolour card then
watercoloured over it in pink.  Once it is was dry I ironed off the
embossing and then die cut a stitched layer.  I stamped
a sentiment on a washi die cut and added a silhouette
 flower die cut to finish.

I added a die cut layer to the inside of the card and stamped
another sentiment.

Blue Birthday Card

A watercolour background created with distress inks was the
first step of this card.  I heat embossed a sentiment on a
flag and die cut the 'happy' and then adhered all the layers
and I was done.

Baby Cards

I began making this card by creating the background.  Lots of
onesies on a stitched edge layer.  I then used a larger
onesie to add colour and heat embossed a sentiment.
Finally I added a hand cut bow tie.

I also made a pink version in exactly the same way but added a
silver bow instead of the bow tie.

Birthday Cards

I used My Favourite Things Blueprints 25 for this card.  I
followed one of the sketches from their website.  The sentiment
is Paper Smooches and the subtle background stamping is also MFT.

I also made this version using shades of blue.

A Final Christmas Card

I made this final christmas card to make use of the glitter die cut
I hadn't used in my previous card.

The ink splats are a stamp by Neat & Tangled and the
die cut layers are Sew Fancy by Mama Elephant.

Season's greetings

This card is a bright, simple make.  I began by creating the
background piece.  I used MFT Blueprints 25 and 13.
then I simply added the die cut Paper Smooches words.
